Following Cleveland Comets victory on Sunday, the line up for the Summer Cup playoff can now be confirmed.

Sunday 16th September -
10.30 am Solihull Vikings Vs Blackburn Falcons
12.45 pm Kingston Cobras Vs Cleveland Comets

The winning teams will compete for the playoff title and the losing teams will compete for the plate.

5.15 pm Plate Final
7.30 pm Playoff Final

Congratulations to the five teams from the Summer Cup who competed in this year’s EIHA Tournament. Solihull Vikings, Blackburn Falcons and Kingston Cobras all qualified for the Championship group. Finishing second, third and fifth respectively.

The date for the Summer Cup Playoffs has been confirmed:

Sunday 16th September 2007 at Ice Sheffield

10.30 Game 1 - 1st Semi-Final
12.45 Game 2 - 2nd Semi-Final
17.15 Game 3 - Plate Final
19.30 Game 4 - Playoff Final

If a game finishes in a draw both teams will receive a point.

Then depending on what ice time is still available 5 mins overtime will be played 4 on 4.
If after overtime a goal has not been scored, each team will nominate 5 players for a Penalty shootout, if still tied after shootout
the same penalty shooters then go into sudden death penalty shots. (Until there is a winner)

The winner of the penalty shootout will receive an extra point.
